Selling my beautiful and well cared for truck to fund my basement renovation project.
This truck has been great to me and it’s a shame I have to let it go.
It’s a 2005 crew cab SLT 1500 Z71 half ton with a 5.3L Vortec and the 4L60E transmission backed up by a 10 bolt 3.73 gear ratio rear end. It has push button auto 4WD that locks up flawlessly. 239,000 kilometres as it’s my daily driver at the moment.
Heated leathers seats and electric everything (windows, locks, mirrors etc)
BOSE audio system that sounds very crisp and clear
Now for the upgrades and maintenance records.
Nearly brand new 33” Haida 878D tires on stock 17” wheels. Purchase receipt available
Pioneer Bluetooth deck just installed a couple months ago. Purchase receipt available
Excalibur COMMAND START with key fob that works up to 1000 ft away. Roughly $350, with purchase and install receipt available
New NGK iridium plugs and plug wires installed in the last 6 months. Purchase receipt available.
New heated rear windshield (accidentally put a table saw through the old one )
Nearly new front windshield with a crack on the passenger side that does not impede drivers vision
Rebuilt front end components including Pittman arm, idler arm, wheel bearings, ball joints and hub assembly. Receipts available
Fresh alignment in the last month
The knock sensors on these trucks are notorious for being faulty, so I replaced them just a few months back. While I was in there I replaced the intake manifold gasket as well. Roughly $300 in work with receipts available
New thermostat and coolant flush done in the last 6 months.
New lenses and bulbs for the fog lights
4” pucks on the rear axle. Were installed before I purchased the truck.
K&N air filter freshly cleaned (as well as throttle body and mass air flow sensor.
Magnaflow Hi-flow catalytic converters installed before I purchased the truck.
Always been on time to change the oils and grease the front end/u joints. Always used a full synthetic 5w30 motor oil and I can even include a 20L pail of oil that retails at over $200.
Newer headlights (lo and hi beams) that were installed in the last year
The truck has an older truxedo style roll up tonneau cover. It’s seen better days but it still does the job.
Spare tire under truck box is a BFG all terrain.
I just recently wired in a new 7-pin hitch plug for towing capabilities. Although I’ve never really towed with the truck myself.
The front drivers seat has the classic rip that is typical on 99% of these trucks. I was told it would cost roughly $200 to fix it at an upholstery shop. See attached pictures
I’m trying to list everything I know about the truck, please ask if there’s any questions or concerns and I’d be happy to answer them for you.
